American-Bangladesh Education Fund, Inc. is a non-profit organization and shall be operated exclusive for charitable and educational purposes. ABEFI’s sole purpose is to help needy students/schools in Bangladesh, regardless of race and religion.

 

Mission:

Our mission is to raise educational awareness to the poorest students in Bangladesh. To achieve this mission, ABEFI continue conducting formation of grass-root groups to implement financial support to those students who are struggling in Bangladesh.

 

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT BACKGROUND

• To provide availability of financing and grants to students and their families with low income and financial hardship
• To collaborate with other institution and provide resource’s to schools in Bangladesh wherever deem necessary
• To educate public (especially young Bangladeshi-American) about the needs , benefits and opportunities regarding such programs and their involvement
• To conduct any other legal charity and educational activities
• To prevent poor students from dropping out due to financial difficulties
